If you would like to make any changes or cancel your booking, you can do so online or ou can to contact us directly by e-mail. Any changes to your reservation will be subject to the availability and booking conditions. Cancellations should be made at least 48 hours before your arrival date, unless it specifies otherwise on your booking confirmation at the time of your booking.

Question: Does Cast Away have an age restricition?
Yes, it does. Children must be minimum 6 yrs old because of the basic facilities and remoteness of Cast Away.
Question: How do I get to the island? What’s the best airport to fly to?
The best connection is Split. But you can also fly to Dubrovnik. In both cases, take the airport bus to the harbour where you will find ferries to the island of Hvar. You can find all schedules & prices on www.jadrolinija.hr & www.krilo.hr. If you fly into Zadar, just take the airport bus the the town center, than u bus to Split (3h) before hopping on the ferry to Starigrad or Jelsa.
Question: Does Cast Away offer food?
No, Cast Away doesn’t provide any food. But we do have a beach bar where we offer small snacks such as chips, pretzels and of course refreshing drinks.
Question: Is there a supermarket nearby?
The closest supermarket is 4 km away, but it’s a very small one. The best thing to do is to go to the supermarket before pick-up. There are supermarkets at every pick-up place of the Cast Away shuttle. You will be given the time to do some groceries before driving back to Cast Away. You are also free to join the free shuttle every morning to Starigrad ferry to do some groceries (subject to availability).
Question: Does Cast Away offer volunteering positions?

Question: What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is between 12.00pm and 20:00pm.
Check-out is between 7am and 10.00am.
Question: What if I arrive after than your check-in time?
No worries! Let us know your time of arrival and we’ll organize to accommodate you into your hut.
Question: Can I store my luggage if I come before check-in time?
We have luggage storage which you can use free of charge.
Question: Do you accept pets?
Yes, we do accept pets. They can't stay in the beach huts but there's a small front porch on every hut where your pet can spend the night.
Question: Do you offer safety lockers?
Each beach hut gets a individual safety locker in the common area. These are free of charge to use.
Question: Do we need to bring our own linen or sleeping bag?
No. All beach huts come with 2 comfortable 'memory foam' twin mattresses, sheets, linen, blankets, pillows, lights, a storage shelf and a mosquito net.
Question: Can we park easily around Cast Away?
Cast Away offers a safe car parking area free of charge right on the property.
Question: Is there a kitchen? Does it come with utensils?
Yes, we have a fully functional kitchen with 2 stoves, 2 fridges, a sink with a rainwater tap and a large preparation table. Everything is provided: plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans and we also offer a wide range of spices, condiments, etc. free of charge.
We also have an outside kitchen with a BBQ and a pizza oven. Charcoal, wood and all utensils are provided as well.
